Overview
The Honda Civic Coupe has been completely redesigned for 2009. The two-door five-passenger 2009 Honda Civic Coupe is sporty and offers sophisticated new styling and additional technology features. The 2009 Civic Coupe comes in DX, LX, EX and refined EX-L trim levels.
Power and Performance
Under the bonnet of the 2009 Civic Coupe is the responsive 140-horsepower 1.8-liter, 16-valve, SOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine that can be paired with either a smooth-shifting 5-speed automatic or the 5-speed manual transmission (MT). The 2009 Civic Coupe qualifies as an Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle.
Body and Styling
The 2009 Civic Coupe has been built on a high-rigidity unit-body platform and updated with a revised front grille; new clear turn signals; new front bumper; long, low roofline that enhances aerodynamics; multi-link rear suspension; and three separate air inlets. The new 16-inch alloy wheels on EX and EX-L have minimal gap for a street-ready stance.

The inside of the 2009 Civic Coupe is equipped with heated front seats (EX-L), steering wheel-mounted audio controls (EX, EX-L), two-tier instrument panel; a flat rear floor; tachometer; power windows; storage bins; and 12-volt power outlet.

New technological features on the 2009 Civic Coupe include new USB Audio Interface on the EX and EX-L, optional Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System with voice recognition and Bluetooth Hands-Free Link.
Safety Features
Standard safety equipment offered on the 2009 Civic Coupe include anti-lock braking system with electronic brake distribution; immobilizer theft-deterrent system; tire pressure monitoring system; 3-point front seatbelts; advanced compatibility engineering body structure; dual-stage dual-threshold front airbags; front side airbags with passenger-side occupant position detection system; side curtain airbags; daytime running lights; lower anchors and tethers for children; active head restraints for driver and front passenger; and vehicle stability assist (on EX-L).
