What Are the Honda Accord Trim Levels

The 2024 model year Honda Accord upholds its longstanding reputation as a well-built, practical option for sedan drivers. The new model promises to deliver a mix of sportiness and comfort, thanks to a redesigned cabin and powerful engine options. Plus, with four hybrid trims available, drivers will be able to choose maximum fuel-efficient engines for greater convenience.

There are a few different configurations of the Accord available, including the LX, EX, Sport Hybrid, EX-L Hybrid, Sport-L Hybrid, and Touring Hybrid. All six Accord trims have their own advantages and disadvantages, which makes choosing between them difficult. However, with a little more knowledge of the finer details of these trims, you'll be able to choose the option that's right for you. We'll review each of the Accord trims and their build options, plus accessories that you can purchase.

The LX

The base trim of the Accord is available at a starting price of $27,295. Though it's only the base trim of the model, there are plenty of safety and technology features to make the ride a comfortable experience. You'll be able to use safety features like a collision mitigation braking system, adaptive cruise control, and a traffic sign recognition system. Enjoyable features such as a seven-inch color touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto capabilities, and Bluetooth round out a comfortable and upscale driving experience.

When building an LX trim, there are a few different paint options available at no additional cost. These colors include crystal black pearl, lunar silver metallic, and meteorite gray metallic. For an additional charge, you may also choose from two premium colors–platinum white pearl and radiant red metallic. On this trim build, you'll also get to select the standard (no cost) 17-inch silver-painted alloy wheels or the HPD 19-inch black alloy wheels (an extra $2,000).

For interior design, the choices are quite limited. The standard interior is black cloth. However, with certain exterior paint colors, you may also choose from a gray cloth option.

There is only one standard powertrain option on this trim. However, the 1.5-L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine provides great power and decent fuel efficiency. The engine is capable of producing up to 192 horsepower @6000 rpm. For gas mileage, you can expect an estimated 32 combined city/highway mpg rating.

The EX

The EX trim level has a starting price of $29,610. With this bump in price, the EX has a few more features than the LX, while still retaining all of the same safety technology. However, on the EX, you will also have access to an optional blind spot information system with cross traffic monitor, which isn't available in the LX's safety features. Additionally, at this level, you'll enjoy some upgrades around the cabin, such as a moonroof, heated front seats, and an eight-speaker sound system.

The exterior paint color options remain the same, except for one new addition–canyon river blue metallic (no extra cost). The standard tires for this trim are 17-inch pewter-painted alloy wheels. Or, you can pay an additional cost for the HPD 19-inch black alloy wheels. The cabin design colors and powertrain options remain the same as the previous trim.

The Sport Hybrid

The Sport Hybrid trim is the lowest priced among the hybrid options at $31,895. With technology upgrades from the previous trims, plus a more powerful engine and greater fuel efficiency, the Sport Hybrid provides a comfortable driving experience. On this trim, standard features include a 12.3-inch color touchscreen, Alexa built-in, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

There are only two standard exterior color options on this trim–the crystal black pearl and lunar silver metallic. However, there are four more paint options available at an additional cost. The wheels come standard as a 19-inch machine-finished alloy set with black inserts. Additionally, the only engine option is the two-motor hybrid system, which is capable of producing up to 204 horsepower.

There are only two standard color options available for this trim. Plus, four premium colors for an additional cost. Also, on the exterior of this trim, you'll be able to choose from the standard 19-inch matte black alloy wheels or the HPD 19-inch black alloy wheels for an additional $2,000. On the interior, you'll only have the standard powertrain and black leather-trimmed seating available.

The EX-L Hybrid

The EX-L Hybrid trim costs upwards of  $33,540. With this trim level, you'll get the most fuel-efficient option out of all Accord trims at an estimated 48 combined city/highway mpg rating. You'll also enjoy some upgraded features, including leather-trimmed seating, parking sensors, and second-row USB ports.

There are more standard exterior paint colors available than the Sport Hybrid. You'll be able to choose from four options plus three additional premium colors at an added cost.
